The future of vulnerability management

The future of vulnerability management isn't some clunky, slow, secretive, and noisy workflow. As AI advances and developers deploy to the internet at increasing speeds, vulnerabilities will multiply and become more challenging to manage. Traditional tools (looking at you Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) weren't built for the velocity and scale of today's internet.

We aim to empower the next generation of security engineers for today's modern tech stack and internet. From the beginning, we envisioned something radically different - a solution that's fast, highly accurate (mimicking a real attacker), fully customizable, and beautifully designed with equal emphasis on form and function. We started with open-source, and in four years, we achieved over 100,000 GitHub stars, millions of downloads, and built a thriving community of more than 100,000 active members.

Last year, we quietly set out to build a platform to empower security teams to detect and manage vulnerabilities at scale. We invested the time to learn the industry's biggest pain points, worked with hundreds of security teams, and shipped 20+ major releases. Through this journey, we built the foundation for the future of vulnerability management.

Today we're introducing ProjectDiscovery v1 - the first major step toward a better, more forward-thinking model of vulnerability detection and management. In v1, you'll see the culmination of our learnings and the beginning of something even bigger. Together, we're creating a future where vulnerability management is a proactive force that empowers security teams to move faster.

At our core, we believe cybersecurity is an essential component for technological innovation. For too long, security vendors have exploited the industry with fear-driven tactics instead of building real, effective products. We want to change this, and make cybersecurity simple, actionable, and scalable for everyone.
